Shepherds for well over fifty years. Our experience speaks for itself. Our main goal is to breed the best
all-around German Shepherd dog. At von Hayden Shepherds, our dogs are bred for temperament, workability, and health.
We have built our reputation on honesty, integrity, and quality. We have a passion and love of the breed that shows in each
of our dogs.
We are professional breeders of working German
Shepherd Dogs and are 100% dedicated to breed. Who take extreme pride in the way we raise our puppies, which makes our
job a full time job to say the least. This is our life and passion, simply put - 24 hours a day, seven days a week,
365 days a year! This is not only a job but rather a lifestyle for us, and we wouldn't trade it for the world.
We do not practice mass breeding. Rather, we own a few good German working line shepherds
producing 'true working German Shepherds', which are proving themselves each and everyday!
We have always studied bloodlines, strived to produce workability, superb temperament and
structure, and our goal has always been to improve the German Shepherd breed. von Hayden has produced solid blacks, sables,
bi-colors, and black & red/tan shepherds. First and foremost we enjoy our German Shepherds as our family companions,
and as two legged children.
All of our stock has an OFA or A-stamp rating
of Excellent or Good on their hips and elbows. Each and every dog in our breeding program is proven 'worthy'
before entering our program. All dogs involved in our breeding program are DNA certified with the American
Kennel Club. We also guarantee that all of our stock will have sound, stable temperaments with an incredibly high level of
patience when it comes to children. Our dogs are wonderful with people of all ages!
We have placed our dogs in most states of the US, Mexico, Africa, Germany, South America, the Caribbean, Alaska,
Japan, Canada, Australia and Italy. Our Shepherds have been used for many activities; Schutzhund, Search and Rescue (SAR),
Police K-9's, Handicap Companions, Service Dogs, Military K9's, Therapy Dogs, Show Dogs, Guard Dogs, Personal Protection,
Security Dogs, AKC/UKC Obedience and Agility, Television and Movies.
